🚀 Getting Started

TripFlash uses your own AI API key — it is never stored on our servers. Here's how to set it up in under 2 minutes:

Get a free API key
Google Gemini is completely free — no credit card required. (OpenAI and Anthropic offer pay-per-use plans.)

Add it in TripFlash
Open the app → Connections tab → + Add Connection → paste your key → Save.

Plan your trip
Tap New Trip, enter your city and dates, and tap Generate Trip. A data-sharing notice will appear — review what is sent and tap Allow & Generate to proceed.

Does TripFlash store my API key on your servers?

No. Your key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only and is never transmitted to Navakriya's servers.

Does TripFlash store my trip data?

All trip data is stored on-device using SwiftData. We have no access to your trips. If iCloud Drive is enabled, an encrypted backup is saved to your personal iCloud account for reinstall safety.

What data is sent to the AI provider when I generate a trip?

Before every generation (new plan, re-generate, or edit), TripFlash shows a data-sharing notice listing exactly what will be sent: your destination city, travel dates, base camp (if entered), and points of interest. Nothing is sent until you tap Allow. The data goes directly from your device to the AI provider — Navakriya is not involved.

Which AI providers are supported?

OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini, GPT-4 Turbo), Anthropic (Claude Opus, Sonnet, Haiku), and Google Gemini (Gemini 2.5 Flash, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Gemini 2.0 Flash, 1.5 Flash, 1.5 Pro). The app can also auto-fetch the latest model list live from each provider.

Can I switch AI providers when re-generating a trip?

Yes. When you tap Re-generate or Update Itinerary, a sheet appears where you can pick any saved connection. The data-sharing notice will name the provider you selected.

Is there a free way to try TripFlash?

Yes — get a free Google Gemini API key at aistudio.google.com. No credit card required.

Are itinerary times shown in the destination's local time zone?

Yes. TripFlash automatically resolves the destination city to its local time zone and generates all activity times in that zone. Departure reminder notifications also fire at the correct local time regardless of where your device is.

How do I delete all my data?

Go to Settings → Clear All Data. This permanently removes all trips, connections, and API keys from your device.

No account required — TripFlash works entirely offline for storage.
API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and are never logged or transmitted to us.
A data-sharing notice is shown every time before any data is sent to an AI provider — you can cancel at any point.
Trip content is sent directly from your device to your chosen AI provider using your own key.
TripFlash does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting services that collect personal data.
