Privacy Policy

Overview

TripFlash is designed from the ground up with privacy as a core principle. We collect no personal data, require no account, and have no analytics or advertising SDKs.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect crash reports or analytics.
• We do not collect usage statistics or behavioral data.
• We do not have servers that store your trips or API keys.

Data Stored on Your Device

• Trip data — All trip plans, itineraries, and notes are stored locally using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
• AI API keys — Stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted at rest by the operating system. They are never transmitted to Navakriya's servers.
• iCloud backup — If iCloud Drive is enabled, TripFlash writes an encrypted backup of your trip data to your personal iCloud account. Navakriya cannot access this backup.

AI Provider Data Transmission & Consent

Every time you generate, re-generate, or update a trip itinerary, TripFlash shows a data-sharing notice and asks your explicit permission before sending any data. You can cancel at any point — no data is sent until you tap Allow.

Upon consent, these details are sent directly from your device to the AI provider using your own API key. Navakriya is not an intermediary in this communication and receives none of this data. The AI provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data.

Collaboration / Trip Sharing

The optional trip-sharing feature exports an encrypted file to your device's local storage or your chosen share target (AirDrop, email, etc.). Navakriya does not have access to shared files or the passphrase used to encrypt them.

Children's Privacy

TripFlash does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal data at all, COPPA requirements are satisfied by design.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
